Feeding Therapy

Evaluation and therapy for infants, toddlers, and adolescents with a variety of feeding and swallowing challenges, including:  a variety of medical or physical conditions such as dysphagia, feeding-tube dependency, difficulty with oral-motor skills, picky or restrictive eating habits, and food/oral aversions.

Feeding therapy can focus on:

  • Oral motor skills like chewing, biting, and tongue movements

  • Breast and/or bottle-feeding skills​

  • Cup drinking

  • Eating foods with more/mixed texture

  • Adding new foods to your child’s diet

  • Increasing strength/endurance for feeding

  • Increasing oral intake
